Professional Expertise Advising individuals on most areas of property law, including commercial leases, design and build agreements, residential conveyancing, subdivision work, refinancing and relationship property matters (including contracting out and separation agreements). Matthew also advises on wills and trusts, estate planning and rest home agreements (e.g. buying into a retirement village).

Matthew initially practised in Christchurch, then in the Wairarapa, before joining McBride Davenport James in April 2017. In each case he has enjoyed dealing directly with clients, helping them make important decisions based on timely, clear and pragmatic advice.
