Background

Kristal joined McBride Davenport James in 2025 with 15 years’ experience supporting clients to navigate complex legal and organisational landscapes.

She began her legal career in 2008 in private practice, specialising in acting for insurers in claims, recovery and defence matters spanning a wide range of industries and issues.

Thereafter Kristal held a range of in-house legal, employment relations, regulatory and consultancy roles. She has worked for large corporates, SMEs, in finance services, and in public sector. 

Kristal has undertaken trial work, appeared in the District Court and High Court and represented clients at mediation.

Kristal is also skilled in providing training.

Personal Interests
Outside work, Kristal spends time with her family, tries to fit in some meditation, enjoys a good podcast and looks forward to the next MCU release.
